A LETTER FROM ONE OF THE CO-FOUNDERS

Dear RisktakerLeaderChangemakerCommunity Builder ,

I want to build a really cool website that shows you all of the potential we have inside The Good Gather, but I think the best way I can do that is with a super long letter I wrote at 11PM while talking to Deonn. So here we are.

The internet has given us incredible access to information, ideas and people, but it has also made it easier than ever to do everything alone. We can work from our bedrooms, build entire businesses without leaving home and spend days without a real conversation.

But humans were not designed for that. We need third spaces. We needWe need to practice being in community. places that aren’t just home or work, where we can be curious, creative, messy and fully ourselves. We need to practice being in community.

The Catalyst, which came before The Good Gather, taught me how powerful it can be when people come together with intention. We saw real collaboration, real friendship and real progress. People supported each other, shared resources, solved problems and celebrated wins. It wasn’t just valuable, it was fun.

We need people to laugh with, cook with, move with and plot small and large scale rebellions with.

Whether you’re working on a side quest, building a business, starting a community project or just looking for people who get it, there’s a chair here for you. You can drop into a Gather, host your own, or just hang out and see what unfolds. No elevator pitches. No forced networking. Just people being human, sharing ideas and creating something better together.

The world needs more people who are willing to imagine, create and take action. It also needs more people who are willing to do that together.

That’s what The Good Gather is for.

There are People You Haven't Met Yet Who Could Change Everything

The Good Gather is a virtual third space for people with weird ideas, ambitious side quests, half-built projects, communities they care about and something they’d like to change about the world.

People like you.
